Monday starts with Visa

Day started way too early, at 6.50AM, which in the time zone my brain is still in, meant it was 1.50AM. Tired very tired! After taking care of several things, I met with Mom at Chiado for lunch. We went to a nice rooftop restaurant, AS FREIRAS (literally, THE NUNS)

Yes, I want an apartment with a view to the Tejo estuary!

This view is gorgeous!

And the streets are also cool!

Weeeeeee ... too close!

And the veggie stands are so inviting!

Hum ...

Salted cod, the best and most expensive kind! So good ...

Mom works at City Hall of Lisboa, where the Mayor of the City works, at the Paços do Concelho. The building is amazing

The inside of the building is so cool!!!

"On October 5, 1910, from the balcony of this building was proclaimed the Portuguese Republic"

Mom heading to her office with a coworker

... amazing.

Back on the streets of Chiado and the Baixa de Lisboa, where there used to be the agricultural fields for the Castle ...

... meeting Lita by chance on Rua do Crucifixo was insane! She is my very good Portuguese Erasmus friend from Liège, Belgium. So we had to have BICA, and rolling tobacco and good times.

Walking on the streets of Chiado

At night Mom took me to BICA DO SAPATO, the other restaurant that I enjoy going everytime I am in Lisboa! Mom brought her friend, who was leaving to Kenya the next day.

Petit Gateau, is delicious

The chocolate castle with ice-cream of roses was good too

But this is why the Petit Gateau is so fabulous, it is hot chocolate cake wth dark chocolate hot and melted inside, with vanilla ice-cream

Cool lights

The ambiance is pretty awesome

And the reflection of the full moon over the Tejo river was right there

Happy and drunk Mom and I
